HKS Design Fellowship, Atlanta

During my thesis year at Auburn, I applied for a design fellowship at HKS Architects. Their annual fellowship was being held in Atlanta in 2019 and I was given the opportunity to participate. It was a four day workshop and I was placed in a group with one HKS architect from their Orlando office and one student from SCAD.

The project assignment was to design a park for the city of Atlanta in collaboration with Station Soccer and MARTA. We took the approach to create a budget conscious design with built in storage for sports equipment. Within four days, we created drawings, deliverables and a rendered Lumion video to include in our final presentation.
